Mississippi Mud Pie

Mississippi Mud Pie
Ingredients:
For the Chocolate Cookie Crust:

2 cups chocolate cookie crumbs (such as Oreo or chocolate graham crackers)
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
For the Fudgy Cake Layer:

1/2 cup unsalted butter
4 ounces bittersweet or semi-sweet chocolate, chopped
1 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
For the Chocolate Streusel:

1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/4 cup unsalted butter, cold and cut into small pieces
For the Chocolate Ganache:

1 cup heavy cream
8 ounces bittersweet or semi-sweet chocolate, chopped
1 tablespoon unsalted butter (optional, for extra shine)
Instructions:
1. Prepare the Crust:

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a medium bowl, combine the chocolate cookie crumbs, granulated sugar, and melted butter. Mix until the crumbs are evenly coated and the mixture resembles wet sand.
Press the mixture firmly into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch pie pan or springform pan.
Bake for 10 minutes, then remove from the oven and set aside to cool.
2. Make the Fudgy Cake Layer:

In a medium saucepan, melt the butter and chopped chocolate over low heat, stirring until smooth. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
Stir in the granulated sugar and brown sugar until combined.
Beat in the eggs one at a time, then add the vanilla extract.
Fold in the flour and salt until just combined.
Pour the fudgy batter into the prepared cookie crust and spread evenly.
3. Bake the Pie:

Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out mostly clean (a few moist crumbs are fine). The center should be set but still fudgy.
Allow the pie to cool completely on a wire rack.
4. Prepare the Chocolate Streusel:
