Creamy Sausage Alfredo Pasta

Ingredients:
16 oz (1 pound) of your favorite pasta (such as fettuccine, penne, or spaghetti)
1 pound smoked sausage (e.g., kielbasa or smoked turkey sausage), sliced into bite-sized pieces
1 jar (15 oz) Alfredo sauce
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
Grated Parmesan cheese for serving
Fresh parsley or basil leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions:
Cook the Pasta:
Follow the package instructions to cook the pasta until it’s al dente. Usually, this takes about 8-10 minutes. Drain the pasta and set it aside.

Prepare the Sausage:
While the pasta is cooking, heat a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Add the sliced sausage to the skillet and cook until it’s lightly browned and heated through, which should take about 5-7 minutes. You can use a little cooking spray or oil if necessary, but the sausage may release some oil as it cooks.
