Baked Parmesan Tomatoes!

1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it with olive oil.
2. Place the tomato slices on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer.
3. In a small bowl, mix together the grated Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, dried oregano, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
4. Sprinkle the Parmesan mixture evenly over the tomato slices, covering each slice with a generous amount.
5. Drizzle a little olive oil over the tops of the tomatoes.
6. Bake the Parmesan tomatoes in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and golden brown and the tomatoes are tender.
7. Remove the baking sheet from the oven and let the tomatoes cool slightly before serving.
8. Garnish with fresh basil leaves if desired, and serve the Baked Parmesan Tomatoes as a delicious and easy side dish or snack.
