Banana Pudding Rice Krispie Treats

Prep: Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish with butter or non-stick spray.
Butter and Marshmallows: In a large pot, melt the butter over low heat. Add the mini marshmallows and stir until completely melted and smooth.
Pudding Mix: Stir in the instant banana pudding mix and vanilla extract until fully combined with the melted marshmallows.
Combine: Remove the pot from heat and quickly add the Rice Krispies cereal and crushed vanilla wafer cookies. Stir until the cereal is evenly coated with the marshmallow mixture.
Transfer: Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish. Press it down evenly using a buttered spatula or wax paper.
Optional Topping: Melt the white chocolate chips in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between until smooth. Drizzle over the top of the treats.
