Birria Tacos Recipe

Shred the Meat:

Once the meat is cooked, remove it from the pot and shred it using two forks. Return the shredded meat to the pot and mix with the sauce. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper if needed.
Prepare the Tacos:

Heat a skillet or griddle over medium heat.
Lightly toast the corn tortillas on the skillet.
For each taco, place some shredded cheese on one half of the tortilla. Add a generous amount of the shredded birria meat on top.
Fold the tortilla over and cook until the cheese is melted and the taco is crispy and golden brown on both sides.
Serve:

Serve the birria tacos with finely chopped onion, fresh cilantro, and lime wedges on the side.
If you made consomé, serve it in small bowls for dipping.
