Candied Yams with Marshmallows

In a separate pot, melt 1 stick of butter over medium-high heat.
Once the butter is melted, reduce the heat to low (or off) and add in the granulated sugar and brown sugar. Stir to cook for 1 minute.
Sprinkle in the ground cinnamon, ground nutmeg, and ground ginger. Stir, then add in the vanilla extract.

3️⃣ Assemble the Dish:

Place the yams into a buttered baking dish and pour the candied mixture all over the yams. Make sure the yams are well coated with the candied mixture.

4️⃣ Bake:

Place the yams in the oven, uncovered, at 375°F (190°C) for 20 minutes.

5️⃣ Add Marshmallows:

Remove the yams from the oven and add the mini marshmallows on top.
Place the yams back into the oven for 5-7 minutes, or until the marshmallows are golden brown and gooey.
