Chicken fillets au gratin in mushroom cream, super tasty!

Preparation: Preheat the oven to 200°C (top/bottom heat). Season the chicken fillets with salt and pepper.
Fry the chicken: Heat the olive oil in a pan and fry the chicken fillets on both sides until golden brown. Remove the fillets from the pan and set aside.
Prepare the mushrooms: Clean and slice the mushrooms. Finely chop the onion and garlic.
Fry the mushrooms: Melt the butter in the same pan and sauté the onions and garlic until translucent. Add the mushrooms and sauté until lightly browned.

Prepare the sauce: Deglaze with white wine (if using) and let it boil down briefly. Then add the chicken stock and cream and simmer the sauce over medium heat until it thickens slightly. Season with salt and pepper.

Gratinating: Place the chicken fillets in a baking dish and pour the mushroom cream sauce over them. Sprinkle with the grated cheese.
Baking: Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for about 20 minutes until the cheese is golden brown and the chicken fillets are cooked through.
To serve: Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
