Chocolate Chip Bars Stuffed with Cheesecake

Preheat the Oven:

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×13 inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang on the sides for easy removal.
Prepare the Chocolate Chip Cookie Layer:

In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour and baking soda. Set aside.
In a large bowl, mix the melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until well combined.
Add the eggs and vanilla extract to the sugar mixture and mix until smooth.
Gradually add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
Fold in 1 1/2 cups of the chocolate chips.
Spread half of the cookie dough evenly into the prepared baking pan.
Prepare the Cheesecake Layer:

In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and granulated sugar until smooth and creamy.
Add the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until fully incorporated.
Pour the cheesecake batter over the cookie dough layer in the baking pan, spreading it evenly.
