Chocolate Chip Loaf Cake
Ingredients:
For the Cake:

1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, softened
1 cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup sour cream (or Greek yogurt)
1/2 cup milk
1 cup mini chocolate chips (or regular chocolate chips)
For the Glaze (optional):

1/2 cup powdered sugar
2 tablespoons milk
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions:
1. Prepare the Oven and Pan:

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×5-inch loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.
2. Mix Dry Ingredients:

In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
3. Cream Butter and Sugar:

In a large bowl, beat the softened butter and granulated sugar together until light and fluffy.
4. Add Wet Ingredients:

Beat in the eggs one at a time, ensuring each egg is fully incorporated before adding the next. Mix in the vanilla extract.
5. Combine Ingredients:

Add the flour mixture to the butter mixture in three additions, alternating with the sour cream and milk, beginning and ending with the flour mixture. Mix until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
6. Fold in Chocolate Chips:

Gently fold the chocolate chips into the batter.
