Ingredients:

4 cups frozen or fresh corn kernels (about 4-5 ears of corn if using fresh)
1/2 cup unsalted butter
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup milk
1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon sugar (optional, to taste)
Salt and pepper to taste
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
1/4 teaspoon onion powder (optional)
2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese (optional, for extra flavor)
Chopped fresh parsley or chives (for garnish, optional)
Instructions:

Prepare the Corn:

If using fresh corn, remove the kernels from the cobs. If using frozen corn, thaw and drain it before use.
Make the Cream Sauce:

In a large skillet or saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
Add the flour to the melted butter and cook for 1-2 minutes, stirring constantly, until the flour is lightly browned and forms a roux. This helps thicken the cream sauce.
