Creamy Chicken Alfredo Pizza

2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced (grilled or rotisserie chicken works well)
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup chopped fresh basil or parsley (optional, for garnish)
Instructions:

1. Prepare the Pizza Dough:
Activate Yeast:

In a small bowl, combine the warm water and sugar. Stir until the sugar dissolves. Sprinkle the yeast over the water and let it sit for about 5 minutes, or until frothy.
Mix Dough:

In a large bowl, combine the flour and salt. Make a well in the center and pour in the yeast mixture and olive oil. Stir until a dough forms.
Knead and Rise:

Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and knead for about 5 minutes, or until smooth and elastic. Place the dough in a lightly oiled bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
2. Make the Alfredo Sauce:
Cook Butter and Garlic:

In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute, or until fragrant.
Add Cream and Cheese:

Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in the Parmesan cheese and garlic powder. Continue to cook, stirring frequently, until the sauce is smooth and thickened. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
3. Assemble the Pizza:
Preheat Oven:

Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C). If you have a pizza stone, place it in the oven to heat up.
Shape Dough:

Punch down the risen dough and divide it in half (for two pizzas) or keep it whole for a large pizza. Roll out the dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness. Transfer to a pizza peel or baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Spread Alfredo Sauce:

Spread a generous layer of Alfredo sauce over the rolled-out dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
Add Toppings:
