Easy Oven-Baked Ribs

Easy Oven-Baked Ribs
Ingredients:

2 racks of ribs (baby back, spare, or St. Louis style)
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons paprika
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon onion powder
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon chili powder
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional, for heat)
Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
1 cup barbecue sauce (your favorite brand or homemade)
Instructions:

Preheat Oven:

Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
Prepare the Ribs:

Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs if it hasn’t already been removed. This can be done by loosening it with a knife and then pulling it off using a paper towel for a better grip.
Pat the ribs dry with paper towels.
Season the Ribs:

In a small bowl, combine the brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cumin, oregano, chili powder, cayenne pepper (if using), salt, and pepper.
Rub this spice mixture evenly over both sides of the ribs.
Wrap the Ribs:

Place each rack of ribs on a large piece of aluminum foil. Wrap the ribs tightly in the foil, making sure there are no gaps. This will help to trap in moisture and keep the ribs juicy.
