German Chocolate Poke Cake

1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
2. In a large bowl, mix the cake mix, water, vegetable oil, and eggs until smooth. Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
3. Bake for about 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean. Let it cool for a bit.
4. Once the cake is cool, use the end of a wooden spoon to poke holes all over the top.
5. In a separate bowl, mix the sweetened condensed milk and chocolate syrup. Pour this mixture over the cake, making sure it fills the holes.
6. Sprinkle the shredded coconut and chopped pecans on top of the cake.
7. Finally, spread the whipped topping over everything.
