1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Grease an 8-inch square baking dish.
2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, cornmeal, salt, baking soda, and baking powder.
3. In another bowl, combine the mashed sweet potatoes, buttermilk, eggs, and melted butter. Stir until smooth.
4. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Don’t overmix.
5. Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and smooth the top.
6. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
