Hot Honey Fried Shrimp

In a bowl, soak the shrimp in buttermilk for about 20 minutes.
In another bowl, combine flour, garlic powder, paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper.
Heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer or large skillet to 375°F (190°C).
Remove shrimp from buttermilk, allowing excess to drip off. Dredge in the flour mixture, coating thoroughly.
Fry the shrimp in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 2-3 minutes per batch. Drain on paper towels.
In a small bowl, mix honey and hot sauce. Drizzle this mixture over the fried shrimp or serve on the side for dipping.
