Kentucky Butter Cake

Cream Butter and Sugar: In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy, about 3-4 minutes.
Add Eggs and Extracts: Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Mix in the vanilla and almond extracts if using.
Mix Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
Combine Ingredients: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, alternating with the buttermilk, beginning and ending with the dry ingredients. Mix until just combined.
Pour Batter: Pour the batter into the prepared bundt pan, smoothing the top with a spatula.
