Layered Taco Bake

Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Spray an 8-inch round baking pan with nonstick cooking spray.
Cook the Beef: In a large skillet, brown and crumble the ground beef over medium-high heat. Drain excess grease. Add the taco seasoning and water, following the directions on the seasoning packet. Stir well.
Add Salsa Con Queso: Once the taco meat is ready, turn off the heat and stir in the salsa con queso until thoroughly combined.
Layer the Ingredients:
Layer the bottom of the prepared baking pan with one of the flour tortillas.
Add about 1/3 of the ground beef taco filling on top of the tortilla.
Sprinkle 1/3 of the shredded Mexican cheese blend over the beef mixture.
Repeat the layers twice more, ending with a layer of cheese on top.
Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes, until the cheese is melted and the edges are slightly golden brown.
Serve: Allow the bake to cool for a couple of minutes before slicing. Serve hot and top with your favorite taco toppings like sour cream, diced tomatoes, green onions, or fresh cilantro.
Tips:
For a spicier version, add chopped jalapeños or a dash of hot sauce to the ground beef mixture.
You can substitute ground turkey or chicken for a lighter option.
