Loaded Potato & Meatloaf Casserole

1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, chopped onion, minced garlic, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper. Mix everything until well combined.
3. Press the meat mixture evenly into the bottom of a greased baking dish.
4. Spread the ketchup evenly over the top of the meatloaf mixture.
5. Bake in the preheated oven for about 25 minutes.
6. While the meatloaf is baking, boil the sliced potatoes until they are tender, which should take around 15 minutes. Drain the potatoes and mash them with the sour cream, milk, and butter until smooth. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
7. Once the meatloaf has baked for 25 minutes, remove it from the oven and spread the mashed potatoes evenly over the top.
8. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese and chopped green onions over the mashed potatoes.
9. Return the casserole to the oven and bake for an additional 20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
10. Allow the casserole to rest for about 10 minutes before serving.
