Maple Caramel Bacon Crack (with Turkey Bacon)

Preheat the oven:
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a rimmed baking sheet with aluminum foil and lightly grease it or use parchment paper for easy cleanup.
Arrange the crackers:
Place the saltine crackers in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet, covering the entire surface.
Cook the bacon:
In a large skillet, cook the turkey bacon over medium heat until it’s crisp. Remove it from the skillet, let it cool slightly, and then chop it into small pieces.
Make the caramel sauce:
In a medium saucepan, melt the butter and brown sugar together over medium heat. Stir continuously until the mixture begins to boil. Let it boil for 3 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat and stir in the maple syrup and vanilla extract.
Assemble and bake:
Pour the caramel sauce evenly over the crackers on the baking sheet. Use a spatula to spread it out, ensuring all the crackers are covered. Sprinkle the chopped bacon evenly over the top.
Bake:
Bake in the preheated oven for 5-7 minutes, or until the caramel is bubbly and slightly darkened.
Cool and break apart:
Remove from the oven and let it cool completely. Once cooled, break the bacon crack into pieces and enjoy!
This treat is perfect for snacking, gifting, or indulging anytime you need a sweet and savory fix!
