“Salted Caramel Chocolate Cake: Indulge in a decadent dessert that layers rich chocolate cake with smooth salted caramel and luxurious chocolate ganache. This cake is perfect for any special occasion or whenever you want to treat yourself!

Prepare the Cake:
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour three 8-inch round cake pans.
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
Add eggs, milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients, mixing until just combined.
Stir in the hot coffee until the batter is smooth (note: the batter will be thin).
Divide the batter evenly among the prepared pans.
Bake for 22-25 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean. Let cool in pans for 10 minutes, then transfer to wire racks to cool completely.
Make the Salted Caramel Sauce:
In a saucepan, heat sugar and water over medium-high until the sugar dissolves. Let it boil without stirring until it reaches a deep amber color.
Carefully whisk in the heavy cream (the mixture will bubble). Remove from heat.
Stir in butter and sea salt until smooth. Let cool slightly before using.
Prepare the Chocolate Ganache:
Place chopped chocolate in a heatproof bowl.
Heat cream in a saucepan until it just begins to simmer, then pour over chocolate. Let sit for one minute, then stir until smooth and glossy.
Assemble the Cake:
Place one cake layer on a serving plate or stand. Drizzle generously with salted caramel sauce.
Top with the second cake layer and repeat the caramel drizzle.
