Slow Cooker Country Style Pork Ribs

Directions:

Pat the pork ribs dry with a paper towel to ensure good seasoning adhesion.
Generously season the ribs with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika if desired.
Place the seasoned ribs into the slow cooker.
Pour the can of Coke over the ribs, followed by the barbecue sauce, evenly coating the ribs.
Cover the slow cooker and set it to low. Let the ribs cook for 7 to 8 hours for the ultimate tenderness. Alternatively, cook on high for 3 to 4 hours if you’re short on time.
Once cooked, carefully transfer the ribs to a plate. Remove any excess fat from the sauce in the slow cooker and pour it over the ribs.
Serve the ribs immediately with your favorite sides.

Variations & Tips:

Enhance the sauce by adding a splash of Worcestershire sauce or liquid smoke for added depth of flavor.
For extra heat, sprinkle chili flakes into the rub or add hot sauce to the Coke mixture.
If you desire a caramelized crust, broil the ribs for a couple of minutes with additional barbecue sauce on top, but be cautious as sweet sauces can char quickly.
Feel free to experiment with different sodas like Dr. Pepper or root beer for unique flavor profiles. Make it your own and enjoy the creative process! Happy cooking!
