Slow Cooker Hasselback Potatoes
Instructions:
- Slice the potatoes about 1/4-inch thick, being careful not to cut all the way through. You can use chopsticks to help with this process.
- Thinly slice the cold butter, about 1/8-inch thick.
- Cut each slice of cheese into 8 pieces, resulting in 40 slices.
- Insert slices of butter and cheese alternately into the sliced potatoes, starting with butter, then cheese, and repeating until all slices are used.
- Line the bottom of the slow cooker with parchment paper. Carefully place the prepared potatoes on top, ensuring the slices remain intact.
- Melt the remaining butter and brush it on top of each potato.
- Sprinkle salt over the potatoes, if desired.
- Cover and cook on high for 4 hours.
- Before serving, optionally sprinkle with chopped parsley and bacon bits for extra flavor. Enjoy your delicious and unique potato dinner!
