Strawberry Sweet Tea

1. In a medium saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a boil.
2. Remove the saucepan from the heat and add the tea bags. Let them steep for about 5 minutes.
3. Take out the tea bags and discard them.
4. Stir in the granulated sugar until it completely dissolves.
5. Add the sliced strawberries to the saucepan and let them steep in the hot tea for about 30 minutes.
6. After 30 minutes, strain the tea mixture through a fine-mesh sieve or cheesecloth into a pitcher to remove the strawberry slices.
7. Chill the strawberry sweet tea in the refrigerator until it’s cold.
8. Serve the sweet tea over ice cubes in glasses.
9. Garnish each glass with fresh strawberry slices, lemon slices, and mint leaves if desired.
