Toll House Chocolate Chip Pie

Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C).
In a large mixing bowl, beat the eggs on high speed until foamy.
Gradually add the flour, granulated sugar, and brown sugar, mixing well to combine.
Blend in the melted butter until fully incorporated.
Stir in the chocolate chips and nuts (if using).
Pour the batter into the unbaked pie shell.
Bake for 55 to 60 minutes, or until a knife inserted halfway between the edge and center comes out clean.
Cool on a wire rack before serving with whipped cream or ice cream.
