Ingredients
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
Salt and pepper to taste
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup chicken broth
1 cup heavy cream
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
Season Chicken: Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
Cook Chicken: Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
Make Sauce: In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and cook until fragrant. Pour in the chicken broth, heavy cream, and Italian seasoning. Stir to combine and bring to a simmer.
Thicken Sauce: Reduce the heat to low and add the Parmesan cheese, stirring until melted and the sauce thickens.
Combine: Return the chicken to the skillet, spooning sauce over the top. Simmer for another 5 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through.
Garnish and Serve: Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
