Salted Chocolate Tart is a decadent and sophisticated dessert that combines rich chocolate with a hint of sea salt for a perfect balance of sweet and savory. Here’s a recipe to help you make this delicious treat:

Salted Chocolate Tart
Ingredients:
For the Crust:

1 1/2 cups chocolate wafer crumbs or graham cracker crumbs
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup unsalted butter (1 stick), melted
For the Filling:

1 cup heavy cream
8 oz semisweet or bittersweet chocolate, chopped (or use chocolate chips)
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon salt
For the Garnish:

Flaky sea salt (such as Maldon or fleur de sel)
Fresh berries or mint leaves (optional, for decoration)
Instructions:
Preheat Oven:

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Prepare the Crust:

In a medium bowl, combine the chocolate wafer crumbs (or graham cracker crumbs) and granulated sugar.
Stir in the melted butter until the mixture is well combined and resembles wet sand.
Press the mixture firmly into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch tart pan with a removable bottom. Use the back of a spoon or the bottom of a glass to press it evenly.
Bake the Crust:

Bake the crust in the preheated oven for 8-10 minutes, or until set and slightly crisped. Let it cool completely before adding the filling.
Prepare the Filling:

Heat the heavy cream in a small saucepan over medium heat until it just begins to simmer.
Remove from heat and add the chopped chocolate. Let it sit for 2-3 minutes, then stir until smooth and fully melted.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, vanilla extract, and salt. Gradually whisk this mixture into the chocolate until well combined and smooth.
Fill the Tart:

Pour the chocolate filling into the cooled tart crust, spreading it evenly.
Bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the filling is set but still slightly jiggly in the center.
Cool and Garnish:
