Ingredients:
For the Dough:

2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, cold and cut into small pieces
1/2 cup cream cheese, cold and cut into small pieces
1/4 cup granulated sugar
For the Filling:

1/2 cup fruit jam or preserves (such as apricot, raspberry, or strawberry)
For Dusting:

Powdered sugar (for dusting)
Instructions:
Prepare the Dough:

In a large bowl, combine the flour and granulated sugar.
Cut in the cold butter and cream cheese using a pastry cutter or your fingers until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
Gently knead the dough until it comes together. Do not overwork the dough.
Chill the Dough:

Shape the dough into a disk, wrap it in plastic wrap, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to firm up.
