7 Layer Dip is a party favorite appetizer with delicious refried beans, guacamole, sour cream, salsa, cheese, green onions, and olives. Serve with your favorite chips and raw veggies!

7 Layer Dip
Ingredients:
Refried Beans Layer:

1 can (15 oz) refried beans
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin (optional)
1/4 teaspoon chili powder (optional)
Guacamole Layer:

2 ripe avocados
1 small lime, juiced
1/4 cup finely chopped onion
1 small tomato, diced
1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
Salt to taste
Sour Cream Layer:

1 cup sour cream
1/2 teaspoon taco seasoning (optional)
Salsa Layer:

1 cup salsa (choose your preferred level of spiciness)
Cheese Layer:

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or Mexican blend cheese)
Green Onions Layer:

1/4 cup chopped fresh green onions
Olives Layer:

1/4 cup sliced black olives (optional)
For Serving:

Tortilla chips
Raw veggies (carrot sticks, celery, bell pepper strips, etc.)
Instructions:
Prepare the Refried Beans Layer:

In a bowl, mix the refried beans with ground cumin and chili powder if using. Spread the mixture evenly at the bottom of a serving dish.
Prepare the Guacamole Layer:

In a separate bowl, mash the avocados with lime juice. Stir in the chopped onion, diced tomato, cilantro, and salt to taste. Spread the guacamole layer over the refried beans.
Prepare the Sour Cream Layer:

In a small bowl, mix the sour cream with taco seasoning if desired. Spread this layer over the guacamole.
