Intense chocolate brownie in an Oreo crust and topped with homemade whipped cream… this is for SERIOUS chocolate lovers!

Ingredients:
For the Oreo Crust:

24 Oreo cookies (about 2 cups crushed)
1/4 cup melted butter
For the Brownie Layer:

1 cup unsalted butter (2 sticks)
1 cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (optional, for extra chocolatey goodness)
For the Whipped Cream Topping:

1 cup heavy cream
2 tablespoons powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions:
Prepare the Oreo Crust:

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a food processor, crush the Oreo cookies until they are fine crumbs. You can also place them in a plastic bag and crush them with a rolling pin.
In a medium bowl, mix the crushed Oreos with the melted butter until well combined.
Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9-inch square baking pan lined with parchment paper. Use the back of a spoon to press it down evenly.
Bake the crust for 10 minutes, then remove from the oven and set aside to cool slightly.
Prepare the Brownie Layer:
