The Best Ever Pecan Pie
Ingredients:

For the Pie Crust:

1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup (1 stick) cold unsalted butter, cut into small cubes
1/4 cup ice water (more if needed)
For the Filling:

1 cup light corn syrup
1 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
3 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cups pecan halves
Instructions:
Prepare the Pie Crust:

Make the Dough:

In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, and salt.
Add the cold butter cubes and use a pastry cutter or your fingers to work the butter into the flour mixture until it resembles coarse crumbs.
Gradually add the ice water, a tablespoon at a time, mixing until the dough begins to come together. You may not need all the water.
Chill the Dough:

Form the dough into a disc, wrap it in plastic wrap, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
Roll Out and Fit:

On a lightly floured surface, roll out the dough to fit a 9-inch pie dish.
Transfer the dough to the pie dish, trim the edges, and crimp as desired.
Place the pie shell in the refrigerator while you prepare the filling.

Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
