Classic Waldorf Salad
Ingredients:

2 large apples (such as Granny Smith or Fuji), cored and chopped
1 cup celery, chopped
1 cup red or green grapes, halved (or a mix of both)
1/2 cup walnuts, chopped (toasted if desired)
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
Salt and pepper to taste
Lettuce leaves (optional, for serving)
Instructions:
Prepare the Ingredients:

Chop the apples into bite-sized pieces, and toss them in a little lemon juice to prevent browning.
Halve the grapes and chop the celery.
Chop the walnuts if they’re not already pre-chopped. Toasting the walnuts (in a dry skillet over medium heat for a few minutes) can enhance their flavor, but this is optional.
