How to Cook Spaghetti Squash
Ingredients:
1 medium spaghetti squash
1-2 tablespoons olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
Optional: garlic powder, dried herbs (e.g., oregano, basil), or grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions:
1. Preheat Oven:
Set Temperature:
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
2. Prepare the Squash:
Cut the Squash:
Carefully cut the spaghetti squash in half lengthwise from stem to end. Use a sharp knife to avoid slipping.
Remove Seeds:
Scoop out the seeds and stringy bits from the center of each half using a spoon.
Season:
Brush the cut sides of the squash with olive oil and season with salt, pepper, and any other desired seasonings.
3. Roast the Squash:
Place on Baking Sheet:
Place the squash halves cut-side down on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or aluminum foil.
Bake:
