Easy Apple Crisp
Ingredients:
For the Apple Filling:

6 cups peeled, cored, and sliced apples (about 6 medium apples; use a mix of sweet and tart apples like Granny Smith and Honeycrisp)
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1 tablespoon lemon juice
For the Topping:

1 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold and cut into small pieces
Instructions:
1. Prepare the Oven:

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish or a similar-sized dish.
2. Prepare the Apple Filling:

In a large bowl, combine the sliced apples with granulated sugar, flour, ground cinnamon, ground nutmeg, and lemon juice. Toss until the apples are evenly coated.
Transfer the apple mixture to the prepared baking dish, spreading it out evenly.
3. Make the Topping:

In a separate bowl, mix together the rolled oats, flour, brown sugar, salt, and ground cinnamon.
Add the cold, diced butter to the mixture. Using your fingers, a pastry cutter, or a fork, work the butter into the dry ingredients until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
