Creamy Macaroni & Cheese

Creamy Macaroni & Cheese
Ingredients:
8 oz (about 2 cups) elbow macaroni
2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 cups milk (whole milk or 2% works best)
1/4 cup unsalted butter
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/4 tsp garlic powder (optional)
1/4 tsp onion powder (optional)
1/2 tsp Dijon mustard (optional)
1/4 tsp paprika (optional, for added flavor and color)
1/2 cup bread crumbs (optional, for topping)
Instructions:
Cook the Pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the macaroni and cook according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
