Ingredients:
For the Cake:

1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
2 cups granulated sugar
4 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 tsp almond extract (optional, for added flavor)
3 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup buttermilk
For the Glaze:

1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter
1 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup water
1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions:

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 10-inch bundt pan or tube pan.
