Caramelized Brown Sugar Cinnamon Grilled Pineapple
Ingredients:
1 ripe pineapple
1/4 cup brown sugar, packed
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 tablespoon melted butter
Optional: 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
Prepare the Pineapple:
Peel the pineapple and remove the core. Cut the pineapple into 1/2-inch thick rings or wedges, depending on your preference.
Make the Brown Sugar Cinnamon Mixture:
In a small bowl, combine the brown sugar and ground cinnamon. Mix well.
Prepare the Pineapple for Grilling:
Brush each pineapple slice lightly with melted butter on both sides. This will help the sugar mixture adhere and create a caramelized crust.
Apply the Sugar Mixture:
Sprinkle the brown sugar cinnamon mixture evenly over both sides of each pineapple slice, pressing gently to help it stick.
Preheat the Grill:
