Creamy Shrimp Alfredo Recipe

8 ounces fettuccine or your favorite pasta
Salt, for pasta water
Instructions:

Cook the Pasta:

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water, then drain the pasta and set aside.
Prepare the Shrimp:

While the pasta is cooking, heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Add the garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
Add the shrimp, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until the shrimp are pink and opaque. If using, add lemon juice to the shrimp and toss to coat. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
