Greek Chicken Gyros

Ingredients
Meat:
• 12 boneless, skinless chicken thighs
Produce:
• 6 cloves garlic, minced
• Zest of 1 lemon
• 1 tablespoon dried oregano
Condiments:
• 2 tablespoons honey Dijon mustard
Baking & Spices:
• 1/2 tablespoon salt
Oils & Vinegars:
• 1/8 cup olive oil
Liquids:
• 1 cup water
Instructions:
1. Prepare the Marinade:
• In a large bowl, combine the minced garlic, lemon zest, dried oregano, honey Dijon mustard, salt, and olive oil. Mix well to form a marinade.
2. Marinate the Chicken:
• Add the chicken thighs to the bowl, ensuring each piece is thoroughly coated with the marinade. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight for the best flavor.
