Homemade Hawaiian Pizza

Homemade Hawaiian Pizza
Ingredients:
For the Pizza Dough:

2 1/4 teaspoons (1 packet) active dry yeast
1 1/2 cups warm water (110°F or 45°C)
3 1/2 to 4 cups all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon sugar
1 teaspoon salt
For the Pizza Topping:

1 cup pizza sauce (store-bought or homemade)
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1 1/2 cups diced ham (or sliced ham cut into strips)
1 cup pineapple chunks (fresh or canned, well-drained)
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano (optional)
1/2 teaspoon dried basil (optional)
Crushed red pepper flakes (optional, for extra heat)
Instructions:
1. Prepare the Pizza Dough:

In a small bowl, dissolve the yeast and sugar in the warm water. Let it sit for about 5-10 minutes, or until it becomes frothy.
In a large bowl, combine 3 1/2 cups of flour and salt. Make a well in the center and pour in the yeast mixture and olive oil.
Stir the ingredients together until a dough forms. If the dough is too sticky, add more flour, a little at a time, until it is smooth and elastic.
Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and knead for about 5-7 minutes, or until it becomes soft and elastic.
2. Let the Dough Rise:

Place the dough in a lightly oiled bowl, cover it with a clean kitchen towel, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until it has doubled in size.
3. Preheat the Oven:

Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C). If you’re using a pizza stone, place it in the oven to preheat as well.
4. Roll Out the Dough:

Once the dough has risen, punch it down and divide it into 2 equal parts (for 2 pizzas) or keep it whole for one large pizza.
On a floured surface, roll out the dough to your desired thickness. Transfer it to a pizza peel or a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
5. Assemble the Pizza:
